Since opening on 26 November 2019, Schaufenster Karlsruhe has been offering a warm welcome to both tourists and residents of Karlsruhe. Created as a place to experience Karlsruhe – not just to provide information about the city's attractions and events – Schaufenster Karlsruhe itself is a venue for receptions, information days, readings and much more. KTG Karlsruhe Tourismus GmbH and Stadtwerke Karlsruhe invite you to find your inspiration in this remarkable city. The approx. 280 m² room is home to a digital experience that marks it out as one of Germany's most state-of-the-art tourist information centres.
Visitors are guided through the interactive tour and can compile a personalised list of interests and information for their own micropage. This personal selection, gathered using QR code technology from a total of five stations, is stored on a card and 100% anonymous, of course. By scanning the respective codes with their mobile phone, visitors can create and access their own Karlsruhe homepage – an extremely convenient way to carry information.
Naturally, personal advice also plays a central role, so the staff of the Karlsruhe Tourist Information and the Stadtwerke are at the heart of Schaufenster Karlsruhe.

Served by S-Bahn local railway services: 1, 4, S1/S11, S2, S5/S51/S52 - Bus line 10 from the main station (Hauptbahnhof) forecourt will take you to the stop Ettlinger Tor. From there you can reach our tourist information centre in 5 minutes on foot.
- Arrival by car
Visitors arriving by car can park in the nearby “Schlossplatz” car park. The car park is reached by following the destination “Karlsruhe-Nord/Zentrum Nord” in the parking guidance system.
