Sustainable pleasures in a Bauhaus monument
Founded in June 2014, “Erasmus” is a unique restaurant that serves 100% certified organic produce. The listed building designed by Walter Gropius in 1928 also features roof and garden terraces as well as a delicatessen for “Erasmus at home”.
What is good?
We are always looking to take gastronomic quality to the next level. This is the fundamental principle of our kitchen. We offer top class, modern and seasonal dishes and menus inspired by French, Italian and German cuisine. We also serve personally selected, natural wines and Karlsruhe drinking water. Most of our products are from the region and 90 percent are certified organic. All our ingredients are carefully sourced from ecological suppliers and we make everything on the premises: from the bread and puff pastry to the pies and terrines. For our meat dishes, we never buy individual premium cuts, such as fillets or loins, but always process complete animals.
