As a theatre manufactory, DAS SANDKORN - THEATER & MEHR is particularly known for its self-developed plays on current topics: whether cabaret, musical revues, comedies or children's plays - our programme is fresh, modern and varied. We offer you two theatre rooms with a very special flair in the listed theatre building in the middle of the city.
Cultural highlights and other specialities
Book a closed performance on the date of your choice or a programme tailored to your wishes: from cabaret snacks to musical sets to a full-length programme, everything is possible. Afterwards, our charming rooms are at your disposal for your celebration. For example, enjoy a champagne reception with a finger food buffet followed by a musical revue. Or combine a delicious menu with excerpts from one of our plays. We would also be happy to reserve a seat for you at a regular performance.
Individual theatre: your own play exclusively for you!
On request, we can design an individual programme for you - with content tailored to your company history, for example. We also offer flexible catering for your all-round harmonious event.
We promise you an unforgettable evening in any case!
You decide what you would like - we take care of the rest. We are not tied to a specific caterer and are happy to work with you to design a catering concept to suit your event. You can also hire our rooms for workshops or lectures.

Enjoy an individually tailored celebration with a cultural programme in a special atmosphere. Whether company or Christmas party, birthday, anniversary, lectures or workshops: DAS SANDKORN and the Knappe 1a agency will create the perfect event for you.
We have two event rooms, each with a stage:
- The Studio, with its small integrated bar, offers a great club atmosphere for up to 90 guests.
- The Fabrikis open, convertible and with space for up to 160 people, it is ideal for a larger celebration including a cultural programme.
- The rooms can also be combined with each other.
